Tyran and Roxanne had a breakfast wedding, so this meant getting up at 5am and leaving before 6am as I love to be at the location at least 30 minutes before I start. With of course preparing the gear the night before and making sure I had everything in one place for when I left early morning.

I’m not a morning person so I definitely needed some coffee to wake me up – thankfully I have this amazing husband who actually got up with me and made me some coffee while I got ready. By the time I had gotten to the bride’s house I was awake – I think work mode just kicked in.

I feel like the bride’s I’ve been covering lately are all so calm – is that just your personality or do you have some secret tips?

Meanwhile, the groom got ready with my second photographer Mickee being over there photographing them.

We then arrived at the venue, at the One & Only Hotel at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

Roxanne and her bridal party started coming toward the altar.

And then we ran off, kidding, we walked. You can’t possibly run fast with heels, or can you? Well, either way we got to get some good shots of the gorgeous couple.

It was now time for the reception, but before the couple came to the reception area, I quickly dived in and got some shots of the décor.

I have to say, the speeches were pretty cool

– but I love that there’s always this uncle – HILARIOUS.

Ah, the first dance, just look at them.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Lewies. May you have an amazing marriage further on – you’ve already been together so long it was practically inevitable that you’d be getting married. High school sweethearts!

Tyran and Roxanne, may God bless your union and have an amazing life ahead. ^_^
