I met Lenton and Thembelihle toward the end of 2020 over a nice cup of coffee. One thing I picked up during the course of our meeting is that they’re very family-orientated. It’s something that you’ll pick up throughout this post.
Enjoy scrolling through their beautiful wedding day.
There was so much celebration involved on their day. Whether it was from the community at home or with their loved ones at the wedding.
Their bridal party was such a vibe! If there was any day that I felt like I cannot dance (I have no rhythm to save my life), it was this particular day. There was dancing from morning until evening.
It made the experience more fun and exhilarating.

We sadly ran out of time to do their couple session on the day of the wedding as the reception time needed to be pushed up, which of course would bum out any Photographer.
Thembi then suggested that they book an extra hour with me for the following week to do their couple session at the venue. I was so stoked! I’m really glad we managed to do it because we got some really great shots.
It was also less pressure as they didn’t have to worry about a program or guests waiting.

The sun had gone down a little earlier than the week before – so I improvised by making use of indoor light shining on them.
These are definitely one of my favourites! Also – how gorgeous are thier outfits?
The reception decor absolutely took your breath away. The events company did an amazing job.
Mr & Mrs Kalase, thank you for allowing me to shoot one of the most important days of your lives together.
May the Lord bless your union – your love is defintiely evident just by looking at you guys.
